Have you downloaded COVIDWISE?  This is the State of Virginia's app you can have on your phone that uses blue tooth technology to update you if you have been exposed to COVID in the community.    Information about it is in the left column

Anyone experiencing anxiety or stress related to COVID-19 may call or text VA COPES, a free and confidential COVID-19 response warmline at 877-349-6428. Hours are Monday-Friday (9 AM-9 PM) & Saturday-Sunday (5 PM-9PM).

Use soft, natural, breathable fabric (such as cotton).
Disposable masks should be used for one day, then discard.
If using cloth reusable masks, make sure they are washed daily.  It's fine to wash with regular laundry and put in dryer.
Do NOT spray with disinfectant.

Is your skin sensitive to mask wear?  Here are some tips to help:
1. Cleanse and moisturize your face daily & after each mask use.
2. If you have a skin care cleaning regimen, use the same cleaning product on your mask.
3. Use laundry detergent that has no dyes or scents.
4. In the cold months use moisturizers and occlusive ointments to create a barrier and to help irritated skin heal.
5. Consider avoiding make-up on the part of the skin that the mask covers as it clogs pores.
6. Change masks daily.
Please do a daily wellness check on your child:

Does your child have cold/flu-like symptoms such as nasal drainage, sore throat, persistent cough, difficulty breathing, headache, chills, significant muscle aches/pains, loss of taste/smell or diarrhea?  OR does your child have a fever?

See column to left for more detailed information on COVID-19.

Please provide your child with a mask.

Make sure your child knows how to properly put on his/her mask.

Reinforce proper hand washing with your child (a minimum of 20 seconds with warm, soapy water).

MEDICATIONS:  All medications, including cough drops, require a parent to bring them in.  If it is an over-the-counter medication and the clinic can administer the medicine as directed on the packaging, a physician's written order is NOT needed.  If it is a prescription, the physician needs to sign the written order.  ALL medications require a parental signature.

All forms needed for medical purposes can be downloaded from "Medical Forms" in the column to the left.  Feel free to download to take to your doctor at any time.
